Wandering the Void

So it’s a day or so late….but I thought I needed to go ahead and share…

I was missioning in low-sec with my raven. Just got done with the mission (The Damsel) and had just finished looting Zor’s wreck for the hardwiring.  Moving to Krull when suddenly I see I’m yellow boxed (insta-lock anyone?) and have been warp scrambled.

I notice I can’t get out and that it’s a frigate hull, so I just send my drones at him and pray to any god that would listen that my wraith cruise missles would do SOMETHING to this guy.

I waited for his buddies, but they never came.  By the time my third missile hit, I noticed I was actually doing damage to him!  I had him down to a quarter shield!  Him using cov-ops had torpedoes and was taking me down, but my booster had held out just barely and I managed to pop him where he stood!

I managed to warp out JUST as his two friends had shown up and I was yellow boxed by another.  I didn’t stick around long enough to see what he would throw at me.

I had gotten some kills before out in null-sec, but not many.  But I have never been in a solo situation against one (three somewhat) and gotten a kill….I was excited and proud that I didn’t loose it too much and was able to maintain enough composure that I didn’t just freak like a WoW player.
